William Carey blows out Selma

William Carey, ranked No. 14 in the NAIA Coaches' Poll, dominated Selma (Ala.) 109-61 Saturday, Nov. 14. Donta Pittman stole the show with a monstrous dunk through contact while scoring 13 points. Pittman was voted as an Honorable Mention All-American before the season. The Crusaders excelled in transition and suffocated Selma's offense.

Oak Grove advances to the second round

Oak Grove (10-2) beats Ocean Springs (9-3) in the first round of the 6A Mississippi State Playoffs. Ocean Springs' offense is unconventional by today's standards and is hard to defend, but the Warrior defense held them in check as Oak Grove picked up the 31-20 win.

After doctors told her she may never walk again, she not only walked, but she sprinted. Now the starting center for Southern Miss as a true freshman, Jenkins reveals how the injury continues to motivate her today.
